Training

Smedegaard attaches considerable importance to training, both for customers and staff alike. Investing in training can and does achieve attainable and tangible results. As shown by numerous surveys, companies who invest in training are those in the forefront of achievement.

With this in mind, Smedegaard DK and Smedegaard CH have invested in extensive training facilities in Copenhagen and Beinwill am See to create informative and interesting environments.

These training areas include many working models of the products manufactured in Denmark, Switzerland and the UK. This allows hands on experience, proving to be most beneficial to the many visitors who attend. Smedegaard UK also places great importance upon training.

At least once a month, technical seminars are conducted at the factory or at the premises of customers.

The topics covered are:

Pumps - the type used, their construction, selection, installation, service and trouble shooting.

Pressurisation Units - types of units, vessel sizing, installation, commissioning and service.

Booster Sets - pressure switch/inverter drive benefits, sizing, installation, commissioning and servicing.

The courses are attended by consultants, county council engineers, contractors, service engineers and students. The training is recognised by C.I.B.S.E. as counting towards C.P.D. (continuous professional development) and certificates are issued accordingly.
